Fresh Organic Grown Produce At A Fair Price
For Both You And The Farmer
Based on the Community Shared Agriculture (CSA) model, people purchase annual shares in the farm's harvest and, in return, receive weekly food baskets full of fresh produce throughout the season. Consumer demand for locally produced, affordable organic food has driven the evolution of CSA's. The weekly harvest is shared between all members, with variety and quantity varying with the time of year.
Customize Your Basket
Now, you can customize your weekly basket choices. There will be the standard winter vegetables, like our organic carrots, onions, potatoes and apples from our cold storage, plus our own home grown lettuce or spinach, and then you can choose 5 more items from a list of organic fruits and vegetables that we will have available.
Unlike some CSA programs, every fruit and vegetable is hand-selected by us, and most of it is planted, grown and picked by us, here at our farm in Minesing. We are the farmer!

What is a Share?
One share is geared to provide produce for a family of 2 Adults and 2 Small Children. Larger families may want to consider purchasing two shares.
Organic Produce
Growing food organically includes such practices as the use of crop rotations, cover cropping and using natural ammendments to improve the soil and plant health.
Growing organicaly is more labour intensive than traditional farming. Edencrest Farms is Certified Organic. We only use organic untreated seeds and heirloom varieties. We do not use any form of chemicals, herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers.
My kids really enjoyed going out to Edencrest, to see the animals and the farm. I was delighted to findout all the fresh CSA food you have available, including the pasture-raised beef.
